...Random days part2

TUESDAY.
It had been raining hard the past nights and last night was no exception. So this means slippery garage and filled-up canal by the gate. Off to school my Alysssa goes at 7.45am, with my cellphone on my right had, I place her bag beside her in the car with my left had. And when I started climbing onthedriver's seat, my righthand hits the door a bit and my phone flies off to infinity and beyond!!! Bounces three times on the floor before it goes ploink into the murky dirty canal near the rear of the car. So imagine the distance. YIKEs!!! No, I screamed more than 'yikes'. I screamed "Maribel help huhuhu" but she was carrying Ava so there wasnt much she could do. I did cry a bit. Woe is me! Reality sank in that my phone just sank at the bottom of the canal! Alyssa said "what's wrong mom?Why are you crying?" huhuhu OMG!!! The water was not at all clear and clean...dark, and dirty and with gazillionmicro-whatevers! I noticed the phone was at the bottome with the silver part with the digicam facing upso I was able to locate it. Without giving it second thought, I plunged my hand into the water and got my phone. HEHEHEHEH...my phone's working fine now. AGGGGGGHHHHH !!!
THURSDAY.
Rain...lots and lots of rain. Alyssa came out from school with a tummy ache and fever. Doc'sclinic we went. With Alyssa asleep all the way. Which scared me coz she has never been that tired ever before. doc says it could be that gastro something flu or sorts or could be worse. Will have o keep a close watchfor any symptoms. Could also just be common UTI. We have to take test. Ill tak the lesser evil, thank you very much! but Alyssa's fever has gone down now and by late afternoon was back to her active selve again. And speaking of back...Alyssa was too tired to walk so I was carrying her all the time, to andfrom pedia's office,---and did I mention I opted to take that shuttle jeepney from Chong H. med. Arts bldg to the main hospital coz taking a taxi would have been a super duper unnecessary expense andwalking the whole distance would have surely split my back into two? But not a second di I ever felt complaining. Poor Alyssa. OPD lab, cashier and finally a taxi to home.
STILL THE SAME THURSDAY. 2.30PM
Alyssa asleep at the house with Ava making noises desperate to wake her big sis up!
Meanwhile...somewhere in Banilad... IGot my "IMNOTA PLASTIC BAG" tote! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...hehehehe. So okay, its expensive. So what? So is a bike part. HAHAHAHA. what makes the bag such a biggie? Me carrying it makes it such a biggie. HEHEHEHEHEHE.
4pm. I didnt ask Joel anymore to pick me up from BTC cos I knew he'd be very busy today when the gun ban starts tomorrow. Our house was just near if I could cut thru the Gaisano Country Mall and Montebello Hotel with a superduper strong tractor. We live on the other side of the campo. Still raining, and I thought why not a! (yep all ofa sudden I was thinking in illonggo). hehehe. With myumbrella (God bless the good friendsfrom Julie's bakeshop who always give us them big ones evey Christmas!!!) off I walked out of BTC and found out that country mall was just a walk across the street. Although I needed to walk the short length of the small bridge before the intersection. Raining still. With my new Anya Hindrich tote on my arm and Crocs on my feet, I was soooooo walking in Banilad with a blue umbrella!!! heheheheh I walked all theway from country mall, thedistance to the gate of thcampo, the whole stretch of thecampo and out the other gate and viola! there's our house! even "Whew" wouldbe an understatement.
