...Havaianas, schmuaianas part II

Story II. Was it Friday ba or Saturday..?Basta the day nag-abot mommy ko from Ormoc. Daw Saturday gid to. Anyway anyway highway...te, amu to...ang money ko daw ga schwinnnnggg!!! ***pairs a!!! tsk tsk tsk waste gid, but kun ang hinablos ko has to say something about it (si Timmerification, look her up sa friends ko, ara na sya da, tontaritits man nga baye but love ko na!)...if you can afford, why not a!!! Te, tuod gid man. I wanted to get my mom a pair of them flip-flops so 10am dagan ko dayon sa Rustans. I figured, id go there coz i know tawhay na da. Well, you know...I just wanted to go in there, buy the pair and get out. 10:15am amu pa pag open sang doors sa store and would you believe there were about 20 ladies nag line. A line outside Rustans? That's a first!Te, hindi ko ya gusto nga ma associated with whatever was going on so I kinda sort of kept my distance, kunwari indi affected or even curious. ABi ko convention sang mga havies nga addict coz they were all wearing Havaianas. So in they went. Like, ga dalagan gid! Take note, they didnt rush in...they RAN!!! hELLO! They were definitely not okay. Period. So in I went man, as if. Gawd they ran in unison to the same direction I was walking towards. Sakto ba construction ko sang previous sentence? You guessed it. Havaianas rack. Like, they literally jumped on the rack. Daw pack of dogs a! Im sure most of you (us) have seen the display rack nga bug-at gid na sya mu. But inspite of it, the rack moved about a foot kay grabe gid the girls swarming. Nag move sya and hit the wall! Ay! the height na gid of kabaduyan!!! Ay dios mio!!! It hit the wall and syempre kibot ko ya!!! Chaos gid as in. Baw kabaduy a! Syempre no, wala ko magduol or whatsoever. Naglibot ko and when i saw a hole sa crowd i just kinda sort of reached for a pair and rushed gid ko to the counter para wala maka identify sakon. Mannn...ilongga ko gali?
